The Epic Production of Esports Events

Esports is now a stronger word than it used to be before. It is a business, sports, and an industry. Esports now have the biggest events that the world has ever seen, events that can even be called futuristic.
The production of esports has grown to be a deep and creative side of the industry, that it even beats how big sports events are at this point.

Esports production was never simple, with producers, observers, a technical team, and graphic production team, esports events were not always as flashy as they grew to be, but they still had the main elements of any esports event. Back when esports events, tournaments, and championships started seeing the light, they only consisted of a stage for the players with a device (pc/console/smartphone) for each, a place for the audience, and multiple big screens for the audience to watch the games on.

While it seems to have been simple back in the day, esports events now are way more elaborate, impressive, and flashy. With events like the League of Legends World Championship and Dota 2’s, in which live performances of different types have been performed by the biggest musicians and dance groups, cinematics, and even hologram shows have been implemented as core elements of an esports event, the bar has been set so high for what people should expect from any big esports event.

A huge and important aspect of any esports event is live streaming, while esports events are now on television too, live streaming on Twitch and similar platforms is where the magic of the production of those events really shows.
With a huge team and studio of talented people working on delivering the epic esports event experience to your screen, viewers get to experience almost the same type of experience the on-ground audience of the event does, viewing even holograms looking as realistic on a viewer’s screen as they do on the live stage.

One of the most memorable settings of an esports event was the 2020 League of Legends World Championship, in which the production team, during a pandemic, managed to create a 360° medium of 32K screens around the players and the stage where performances took place. The 360° gave the viewers a different unique experience, an experience that wherever the camera is directed, the viewer sees something, part of the world built all around them, as real and as engaging as no one could imagine.

There can never be enough explanation to how impressive an esports event nowadays can be, so we would like to salute all the production teams out there for the outstanding work they do to give us the best esports experiences with the highest quality. We appreciate you.
