Kings Arena

In collaboration with Majid Al Futtaim and ArabHardware, GBarena gave the gamers of Egypt the optimal event they deserve. An on-gorund series of tournaments in 5 of the most popular online games. Reaching over 17,000 gamers, the Kings Arena housed Valorant, PUBG Mobile, FIFA 21, Fortnite, and COD: Warzone tournaments in its castle-like structures that were built in both City Center Almaza, and Mall of Egypt. Not to spoil more about the event, here is a more elaborate breakdown for how things went.

Starting off with Mall of Egypt, the Kings Arena had over 9,000 participants as Fortnite led with 2,400 of the total. Valorant followed with a little over 2,000 participants.
Looking at how the number of participants was distributed on games the other side of the Kings Arena, City Center Almaza’s side of the event welcomed a little over 9,000 participants as well, as Valorant was the leading game there with over 2,200 gamers participating in its tournament, followed by Fortnite with a little over 2,000 participants.

As for the reach, GBarena had a custom page specially created for the Kings Arena event making it easy and simple for gamers to browse all the event’s tournaments. The custom page got over 177,000. A megabanner was also made for gamers to easily get to the event on the website right when they open the homepage, and got over 831,000 views. The reach did not stop there for the event, as the tournament pages collectively got over 208,088 views.

The event concluded with both malls close in numbers, both sides of the event achieving almost as much as each other, succeeding in the mission of providing gamers with the optimal esports experience, and leaving Cairo with an event to remember.
